Cosmic Burn

. In 2022 I contacted the Canadian Space Agency/ NASA about getting one of our sauces onto the International Space Station. Plans are still in the works. I came up with a recipe that uses Jamaican jerk spices, limes, Carolina Reaper peppers and that secret ingredient: Tang, the orange flavored drink that John Glenn took into space on his Mercury mission in 1962 and subsequent Gemini missions in the mid 1960’s. The label is a nod to our human space exploration featuring pictures of Sputnik, the first object in space (1957), Laika the dog, first living creature in space (1957), Neil Armstrong, first man on the moon (1969) and the Canadar Space arm (1981-2011), our contribution to the space program. The sauce is, literally, out of this world!
