HMCS Haida Lower Deck Hot Sauce
In the summer of 2023 I was a part of the HMCS Haida warships 80th birthday, Canada’s “most fightingest ship” and as a tribute to her we made this special edition sauce. It uses cayenne and red jalapeno peppers with lemon and lime, and in a time old Navy tradition, a dash of rum. Extremely tasty and guaranteed to warm any sailor’s palate. Our son is a cook in the Canadian Navy and occasionally spices things up with our products, now he has one that’s dedicated our famous Destroyer, The Haida.
